Accessories of eXp 4000
The geophysical instrument exp 4000 comes with many optional connectable probes and accessories. So it is possible to select the accessories you like to get your individual package with optimal performances. You can compose for example your ultimate treasure hunting package, your specialized cave detection package or others. Or you can optimize the metal detector in accordance to your searching area (flat ground, uneven ground, mountains, beach, jungle, urban terrain etc.). Here you can find some short info about each detecting probe.

GPR antennas (25cm, 50cm, 75cm, 100cm)Scan the underground and get a 3d image! These horizontal gpr antennas can be used for ground scanning in different areas to locate metals, voids or water. They has to be connected to the metal detector main unit and are used in the Ground Scan mode to receive a 3d image of the underground. The gpr probes are available in different sizes which optimize scanning in different conditions. The gpr antenna 25cm is specially interesting for searchers who have to scan areas with difficult access like for example in the mountains or in the jungle, where are many bushes, stones or trees. This smallest antenna can be used for a detailed research and mostly used to detect small objects like gold or silver coins, rings, gold nuggets etc. The scanning process is longer because of the small sized antenna and the small area it covers, but very suitable to search in difficult terrain. This probe is included in the basic package of eXp 4000. The gpr antenna 50cm is a compact scan probe suitable for nearly all measurement procedures. The larger gpr antennas with a length of 75 and 100 cm are used to scan large areas and flat ground, to get a fast overview about the complete terrain.

DDV system (antenna for metal discrimination)Discriminate accurately metal targets! The DDV system is a visual metal detector system to discriminate between different
materials. This antenna for metal discrimination can be used to find out if there is iron,
aluminium, gold or silver situated under the ground. You can adjust the
discriminator of the DDV system to certain metals or to filter out
nonvaluable metals which you don't like to detect. Than the metal detector
coil will only react on the selected metal. For example it can be adjusted on
gold to filter out other materials like iron. This probe is specially
interesting for gold seekers and prospectors. Technical characteristics of the DDV system:

Antenna for tunnel detectionLocate underground chambers or hidden rooms! This probe is a high resolution sensor which is focused on the research and detection of hidden voids like tunnels, rooms, chests, tombs, graves and others. You can receive a 3d underground image with this antenna, where voids are represented in particulary and with high resolution. Metals will also be visible in the scan image, but are not the main focus of this sensor. Features:

Super sensorDeep search of precious metals! The Super sensor is a multi task sensor which can be used in the operating modes Magnetometer, Ground Scan and Discrimination.
The Super sensor can be used for high resolution ground scans (3d images) and for discriminating between ferrous (e.g.
steel, iron) and nonferrous metals (e.g. gold, silver) in high depth. This one meter vertical probe is specialized on detecting precious metals and can locate small sized metals deeper than the gpr
probes. Also it can discriminate between precious metals (e.g. gold, silver) and ferrous metals (iron) deeper than the DDV system, to avoid useless diggings in high depth. Because of the integrated sensor technology it offers good results even in hard, salty or mineralized soils.

ThermoscanLong Range Locator with infrared laser pointer! The Thermoscan is a long range locator which recognize differences of temperatures on the surface of the ground. Due to this infrared measurement it is possible to locate voids like tunnels, treasure chambers, bunkers or caves under the ground. Possible applications are:
The FS-Thermoscan stands up for its practicable usage and compact design. Create high resolution 3d graphics of the underground by measuring the differences in temperature on the surface of the ground. Because of the integrated laser pointer pinpointed measurements and accurate positioning of hidden voids are possible.

VLF emitter system (4 pieces)

| The figure on the left side shows a located metallic target without using VLF emitters. The structure of the object is destroyed and not very accurate. | The figure on the right side shows the same measurement while using VLF emitters. The shape of the located target looks much clearer, also the background is straightened. |
Advantages of the usage with FS Future Series
VLF emitters are optional available components which can be used to
improve a measurement with the metal detecting device eXp 4000. VLF emitters send out very low frequencies to reinforce the magnetic field. Because of this amplification anomalies of the underground like metallic targets (gold, silver, copper etc.) becomes better
visible.
The 3d image of the underground becomes more clearly than without using the VLF emitters. So you can better recognize the shape and structure of buried treasures.
Usage
One set of VLF emitters consists of 4 emitter sets with sending
antenna which have to be placed on the ground, in every corner of your measuring area. Remove the antenna of every VLF emitter and place it on the ground in a distance of about 50 cm from the
emitter main unit. Adjust every emitter to your current ground conditions and power it on. Now measure your area with
the metal detecting instrument eXp 4000 in operating mode Ground Scan like usual.
Technical characteristics of VLF emitters:
The following technical indications are medial values. During operation small variations are quite possible.
